The Po Lin Monastery location with worth visiting just for the amazing views of forests and the city located high into the mountains of Hong Kong.
The Big Buddha looks like it has been there for hundreds of years but onlly opened in 1993 after 12 years in the making. It cost $60million Hong Kong Dollars to make and is now one of the most popoular tourist attractions in asia.
The Buddha Staue and Monastery are open from 10am – 17:45pm. Visiting the Buddha is free of charge but to enter the Monastary there is a small donation.
