Hong Kong has some amazing views but none as unmissable as The Peak. It’s the highest part of Hong Kong and gives visitors the chance to experience views over some beautiful buildings, Victoria Harbour and wide forests that would only be rivaled by The Empire State Building or the Eiffel tower.
The highest viewing platform is Sky Terrace 428 which is at the top of the Peak Tower. It houses some great restaurants including an unforgettable Bubba Gump which has some memorabilia from the movie Forest Gump and the most amazing views from any restaurant.
The most popular way to get to the top of The Peak is the team. The tram service has been available since 1888 and operates 7 days a week between 7am and 12 midnight. The Peak tram operating hours give you the opportunity to see HK from morning to night and you will see some spectacular sights from it.
I would recommend visiting The Peak at least once when you visit Hong Kong and really think about the time you visit. Early afternoon will give you signs of the whole of HK on a clear day. Sun set on the Peak is also highly recommended as are the Harbor light shows which light up the finance districts tallest buildings.
